A nice run up to Newcastle this morning to collect our white grand from a 50th birthday celebration. Fitted with huge temporary “spider” castors to prevent cutting the rubber sheet dance floor. In previous years it has taken 12 men to carry the piano on and off stage during the performance ! Now it can be moved by one person.A Yamaha U1 upright piano going upstairs at the Albert Hall for the band ‘Beirut’. I love the crew at this place !
